
Yesterday, I went to the Farmer's Market in Baltimore City, underneath the JFX. I feel so blessed, because it is right next to The Living Well, where I teach yoga on Sunday mornings. The availability of fresh food is essential to the vibrancy of a community. When we eat fresh foods, we can think clearly and have lots of energy. Not to mention the fact that being healthy keeps us performing better at work and school. Merchants make money to support their families. Money stays local. People are connecting with one another. The impact of a local farmer's market is social, creative, and economic.
