Healthier ice-cream

Hello,

 

Chopped frozen banana, pit it in a blender and whiz up for a few minutes until icecream consistency. Very tasty and much healthier than sugar laden icecream. Add whatever you fancy when blending to add flavours or crunch. I usually put peanut butter, flaxseed and dark chocolate chips with mine. Quick and simple, but very very tasty!

kasigo2526 , Thank you for sharing this recipe. It is one of my favorite vegan dessert options! It is all about simplicity. Sometimes I switch it up and blend up cherries or strawberries, and top with raw cacao, hemp seeds and fresh fruit.

  • When It comes to preparing vegan delights, I aim to use whole foods. Foods that are closest to their natural state provide the most vitality. Recipe: 2c. Cooked chickpeas 1/2 c. Vegan Mayo (use more or less to taste) Tbsp Relish 1/2 Tbsp Spicy Brown Mustard 1/2 c Chopped Celery Sea Salt Fresh Ground Pepper Fresh or Dry Dill to taste Directions: 1. Rough chop Chickpeas with knife or food processor. 2. Carefully mix all ingredients in a bowl. If you have one, use a spatula so that you do not over mash the chickpeas. 3.
